2024 K-5 Field Trips will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays during the festival.

Groups will move through a structured rotation, ensuring that students experience the full range of activities and learning opportunities at the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival.
- Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit: Dive into a world of sand artistry. Under a 21,000 sq. ft. canopy, marvel at 1,000 tons of Clearwater Beach sand transformed into breathtaking sculptures.
- Busking World: Experience the magic of street performances. Talented buskers will not only entertain but also teach about the rich history and cultural significance of this art form.
- Sugar Sand Sculpting Classes: Tailored for students, these sessions offer hands-on guidance from pros. Craft personal sand masterpieces and learn about the art of sand sculpting.
- Sand Animation Area: Engage with a captivating video by a professional sand animation artist, emphasizing ocean and beach conservation. Afterwards, students can try their hand at creating their own sand animations on light boxes.
- Keep Pinellas Beautiful Presentation: A vital lesson on recycling, conservation, and our role in preserving beach beauty.
